The National Mandatory Party (PAN) retracts the inquiry against Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama related to the 2015 City Budget polemic. Previously, NasDem and National Awakening Party (PKB) did the same thing.

The step is taken based on DPP PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan's instruction who wants to end up the polemic between executive and legislative for the sake of citizens' interest.

According to Johan, all cadres in legislative must follow DPP PAN Chairman’s command to retract the inquiry as a party liaison.
“Although this is a private matter or individual, we remain as a liaison between the people and the government. So this should be done as said by Mr. Zulkifli,” he told.
Johan explained that his party wants to create harmonic communication between legislative and executive, and put the citizens' interest at front.
“Today we'll deliver the letter regarding this retraction,” he disclosed.
